Meet Flo: WelcomeFlo's built-in tools
An overview of Flo Importer, Flo Assistant, Flo Places, Flo Translations, Ask Flo and Flo Insights, and what each one actually does.

Flo is WelcomeFlo's name for the tools built into the product that do the writing, importing, translating and thinking on your behalf. There is no separate app or setting called "Flo" — it is a set of distinct tools, each solving one specific job around building and running a guide.
The tools
- Flo Importer drafts a guide for you from an uploaded PDF or Word document, or from an Airbnb or Booking.com listing — available on every plan, including Free.
- Flo Assistant rewrites, shortens, clarifies or expands content you write in the guide editor, or writes a first draft from your rough notes.
- Flo Places suggests nearby restaurants, cafés and attractions for your Explore section, using real Google Places data.
- Flo Translations lets guests read your guide in their own language, chosen from the languages you enable.
- Ask Flo answers a guest's question directly, in their own words, using only the content already in your guide.
- Flo Insights looks at how guests actually use your guide and turns that into specific suggestions.
What's included with your plan
Flo Importer is available to every host, including on the Free plan. The rest — Flo Assistant, Flo Places, Flo Translations and Ask Flo — are included with Pro and Business. Flo Insights gives every plan straightforward, rule-based suggestions; Pro and Business additionally get an AI-written explanation and a recommended next action for each one.

What Flo does not do
Flo only ever works with information you have provided — your guide's own content, real Google Places data, or a document or listing you point it at. It never invents property details, house rules or local information, and a host always reviews and can edit anything Flo produces before it reaches a guest.
