Find local recommendations with Flo Places
Let Flo Places search nearby restaurants, cafés and attractions for your Explore section, using real Google Places data.
Updated
Flo Places searches for nearby places worth recommending, so you do not have to look them up yourself one by one. It is available on Pro and Business.

Starting a search
From Places, choose Flo Places and pick a category — Food & Drink, Things to Do, Outdoors, Shopping, Family, Wellbeing, Essentials — or search across all categories at once. You can optionally describe what you are after in your own words, such as "quiet cafés within walking distance," and Flo takes that into account.
Where the results come from
Every place, rating, address and opening hours shown comes directly from Google — Flo Places never invents a place or a detail about one. Flo's own contribution is finding the right search radius for the type of place (a supermarket search looks further out than a café search) and ranking the results for what makes a good guest recommendation, not just what is closest.
Reviewing and adding places
Nothing is added to your guide automatically. Flo Places returns a list of candidates for you to review — you choose which ones to add, which category each belongs to, and you can adjust the note before it goes live. Once added, a place behaves exactly like one you added by hand: see Edit, reorder or remove a place.
Which guides see it
Like any place, one you add through Flo Places is available across your account and you choose which guides show it — useful if you manage several nearby properties. See Add a local recommendation.
What Flo Places does not do
It does not read or summarise guest reviews, and it never adds a place without you reviewing it first. You remain the one deciding what is actually worth recommending.
