Understand your guide analytics
Read the visit, engagement and action figures for your guide, and use them to find what guests cannot find.
Updated
Analytics show how your guide is being used, so you can improve it based on what guests actually do.

What is measured
- Visits — how many times guests opened the guide
- Engaged visits — visits where a guest genuinely used the guide rather than glancing at it
- Active time — how long guests spent with the guide in front of them
- Opens — which categories, subcategories and places guests opened
- Actions — deliberate things guests did, such as copying the Wi-Fi password or opening directions
- Searches — what guests searched for inside your guide
The most useful report
Searches that returned nothing. Every one is a guest who expected your guide to answer something and found it did not.
If several guests search for "parking" and get no result, the fix is obvious and takes two minutes.
What analytics will not tell you
Analytics are anonymous by design. They record no names, no email addresses and no IP addresses, and location only at country level.
You can see that a guest copied the Wi-Fi password. You cannot see which guest, and that is deliberate.
How far back you can look
How much history you can see depends on your plan: 30 days on Free, around 24 months on Pro, and the full history on Business.
Ask Flo and Flo Insights
On Pro and Business, the Analytics page also shows how Ask Flo is performing — questions asked, answered and rated helpful — and Flo Insights suggestions drawn from this same activity.
