See which parts of your guide guests use
Find the categories, sections and places guests open most, and the ones nobody ever reaches.
Updated
Analytics show what guests open, not just how many arrived.
What you can see
- Which categories and subcategories are opened most
- Which places guests look at
- Which actions guests take, such as copying Wi-Fi details or opening directions
- What guests search for inside the guide
Reading the popular list
The top of the list is rarely a surprise: Wi-Fi, arrival and check-out. That is confirmation your guide is being used for the right things.
The interesting part is what is missing. A section you thought was essential that nobody opens is either badly named, buried too low, or genuinely unnecessary.
Content nobody reaches
Before deleting an unopened section, check two things:
- Is it findable? Something on the third screen of a category may be useful and invisible.
- Is it named the way a guest would think of it? "Waste" gets fewer opens than "Bins".
Try renaming and moving it before removing it.
Actions are the strongest signal
An open means a guest looked. An action — copying the Wi-Fi password, tapping directions — means the guide did something for them.
A guide with many opens and few actions is usually one where guests are hunting rather than finding.
Searches with no results
The most actionable report in analytics. Every one is a guest who expected an answer your guide did not have.
