Welcome to WelcomeFlo
What WelcomeFlo is, what a guide does for you and your guests, and the quickest path from signing up to sharing your first guide.
Updated
WelcomeFlo turns the information you would otherwise repeat in messages, printed folders and sticky notes into one digital guide for your property. Guests open it from a link or a QR code, on any phone or browser, with no app to install.
What a guide replaces
A guide holds everything a guest usually has to ask you for: how to check in, the Wi-Fi password, how the appliances work, your house rules, and the restaurants and attractions you actually recommend nearby. Once it is published, guests can find these things themselves, at any hour, without waiting on a reply.
What guests see
Every guide is organised into a few simple tabs:
- Home — a welcome message, check-in and check-out times, your contact details and any Wi-Fi details, all visible the moment the guide opens.
- Stay — the property information you have written, organised into categories and sections guests can browse or search.
- Explore — the local restaurants, cafés and attractions you have added, each with directions, hours and your own note.
- Search — a search box over everything in the guide, plus Ask Flo, which answers a guest's question directly in their own words using your guide's content.
- Extras — if you offer any, the paid or free add-ons guests can request, like an early check-in or an airport transfer.
What you do as a host
Everything on your side happens in the WelcomeFlo dashboard: creating and editing guides, organising content, adding places, checking analytics, and managing any Extras you offer. Find your way around the dashboard covers where each of these lives.
Getting your first guide live
- Create an account. No card required — the Free plan includes one complete guide, for as long as you like.
- Create your guide. Choose a template for your type of property, import an existing PDF or Word document, or generate a starting point from an Airbnb or Booking.com listing. All three hand you an editable guide, never a finished one you cannot change. See Create your first guide.
- Fill in the details that matter. Replace placeholder text, add your Wi-Fi and check-in details, and bring in a few local recommendations.
- Preview it. Open the guide exactly as a guest would before anyone else sees it.
- Activate and share it. Publish the guide, then send the link or QR code to your guests.
