Change your email address

Update the address you sign in with, confirm the change, and know what it does and does not affect.

Updated

Your account email is how you sign in and how we reach you about billing and security.

Changing it

Open Account in the dashboard and update your email address. Because it controls access to your account, the change has to be confirmed — you will be sent a message to verify the new address before it takes effect.

Until you confirm, you continue signing in with the old address.

If the confirmation does not arrive

  1. Check the spam folder of the new address
  2. Confirm you typed it correctly, since a typo sends the message somewhere real but wrong
  3. Request the message again — the most recent link is the valid one

If it still does not arrive, contact us from your current address.

What this does not change

Your account email is separate from the host contact email guests see in a guide. Changing one does not change the other.

If guests should now email you somewhere else, update the host contact details on each guide as well.

Billing email

Receipts go to your account email unless a separate billing email is set. If your accountant needs copies, setting a billing address in the billing area is cleaner than forwarding each one.

Keep it accessible

Your email account is the recovery route for your WelcomeFlo account. If you lose access to it, resetting your password becomes considerably harder — so avoid using an address tied to an employer or a domain you might give up.
