Get a QR code for your guide, choose where to display it in the property, and print it so it scans reliably.

A QR code is the easiest way for a guest who is already inside the property to open your guide.
Downloading the code
Open the guide in the dashboard and download its QR code. The code points at your guide's web address, so it works for anyone who scans it.
How guests use it
On any modern phone, guests open the camera, point it at the code and tap the link that appears. No separate scanning app is needed.
It is worth adding a short line of text beside the code — "Scan for the house guide" — because a bare code tells nobody what it does.
Where to put it
Somewhere visible at the moment it is useful:
- Just inside the entrance
- On a printed welcome card
- In the kitchen, near the appliances guests ask about
- On a fridge magnet
- Beside the Wi-Fi router
One code in a sensible place beats five scattered around.
Printing it well
Print the code at a decent size — around 3cm square is a reliable minimum — with plenty of white space around it. Avoid glossy laminate directly over the code, as reflections stop cameras focusing.
Before ordering a batch, print one and test it with more than one phone, including an older one if you have access to it.
When to reprint
Editing your guide content does not change the code, because the web address stays the same.
Changing the web address does. Your old address redirects for 90 days, which is your window to replace anything printed.
