Monthly or annual billing
Choose between paying monthly and annually, switch between them, and understand when a change takes effect.
Updated
Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually.
The difference
Annual billing costs less over a year than twelve monthly payments, and means one payment to think about instead of twelve. Monthly costs more overall but commits you to less.
Current prices for both are on the pricing page.
Which suits you
Monthly makes sense if your hosting is seasonal, if you are still deciding whether WelcomeFlo fits, or if you would rather keep the flexibility.
Annual makes sense once you know you will be using it for the year — most hosts who have published guides and printed QR codes are in this position.
Switching
You can change between them in the billing area. The change applies from your next billing date rather than immediately, so you always keep the period you have already paid for.
Renewal
Both renew automatically at the end of their period. An annual subscription renews once a year on the same date; a monthly one renews each month.
You can cancel renewal at any time, and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Annual and cancellation
Cancelling an annual plan part-way through does not usually produce a refund for the remaining months — you keep access until the year ends. That is worth knowing before choosing annual, and does not affect rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer law.
