Change your guide colours
Set the colours used through your guide so it matches your property or business while staying easy to read.
Updated
Colour is the quickest way to make a guide feel like your property rather than a piece of software.
Where to set colours
Open the guide's appearance settings. You can set the main colour used for buttons and highlights, along with the accent colours used for navigation.
Changes are live as soon as you save, so it is worth previewing on a phone before you finish.
Choosing colours that work
Pick one colour with enough contrast against white to be read comfortably. Very pale colours look elegant in a swatch and become invisible on a phone in sunlight.
If your property has branding already, use it. If it does not, choose something drawn from the property itself — the colour of the front door, or the sea if guests can see it.
Keep text readable
Guests use guides in bad conditions: bright light, one hand, low battery, tired after travelling. Readability beats subtlety every time.
Avoid using colour alone to signal something important. If a warning matters, say so in words.
What stays the same
Layout, spacing and typography are consistent across guides. That is deliberate: it keeps guides legible on every screen size, and it means a guest who has used a WelcomeFlo guide before already knows how to use yours.
