When place information is wrong
What to do when opening hours, an address or other details shown for a recommendation are out of date.

Place details come from Google, so they are usually current — but not always.
Why details can be wrong
Business information on Google is maintained by the business and by Google's own sources. If a café has changed its hours and not updated its listing, WelcomeFlo shows what Google has.
We do not edit these details, because a copy kept inside WelcomeFlo would go stale faster than the original.
What you can do
Correct it in your host note. Your note is yours to write, and it sits alongside the listing. If the hours shown are unreliable, say so:
Hours here are often out of date online — worth ringing ahead on a Monday.
Suggest an edit to Google. Anyone can suggest a correction on Google Maps, and businesses usually accept them. That fixes it for everyone, not just your guests.
Remove it. If a place has closed, take it off your guides.
Check the place you selected
Occasionally the wrong branch of a chain gets picked, particularly in cities. Open the place from your Places list and check the address matches the one you meant.
Set expectations in your notes
The most robust approach is to write notes that do not depend on details changing:
Ten minutes on foot. Closed Mondays when we last checked — worth confirming.
That stays useful even when the listing drifts.
